We want you to have a enjoyable and memorable lodging experience aboard the San Superior, here are a few things to expect.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by a member of our crew. They will assist you with your gear, aquaint you with the Marina accommodations and provide you with an onboard orientation to the yacht.
The San Superior boasts over 1100 sq. feet of cabin and deck space and comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults and children. Her ammenities include:
- A full galley, including sink, refrigerator, range, and microwave. It is also fully equipped with dishes, glassware, coffeemaker, cookware, silverware, paper products, dish cloths & towels, and other essential kitchen utensils. There is even complimentary ice in the freezer.
- A large eating bar and dinette with seating.
- A spacious main Salon with custom built sofas.
- Forward cabin with Queen V-berth and private head.
- Double conversion-berth in the Pilot House.
- 2 single conversion-berths in the Salon with a privacy door.
- 2 full heads.
- Topside Flybridge with ample seating for your entire party. This is a great spot to view the big ships passing by, the beautiful Duluth hillside, and the famed Aerial Lift Bridge.
- A large mid-ship deck with patio furniture, ideal for sunbathing.
- Gas BBQ grill.
- Above board and below deck radio & cd players.
- TV, VCR, movies, games, & magazines for both children and adults.
- WIFI Internet Service available.
- Bedding, fresh linen, pillows, & towels are provided.
Dockside parking at the Marina, within walking distance of Canal Park, the magnificent beaches of Park Point, Downtown Duluth, Bayfront Park, and the Lake Superior Boardwalk. Bring your bikes!
Although the San Superior is thoroughly cleaned after each rental, Maid and/or Room Service is not provided during your stay. We ask that you leave the San Superior as shipshape as when you arrived.
As on most boats, the onboard toilet and shower facilities, although fully operational, are typically only used when away from port and should only be used if absolutely necessary. We strongly encourage you to use the Marina's bathrooms and showers. The Marina's showers have much better water pressure and an unlimited supply of hot water.
Laundry facilities and ice are also available at the Marina.
We request that you wear non-heeled, soft sole shoes onboard for your comfort and safety. Don't forget to bring a set of warm clothes and a jacket as evenings can be cooler by the Lake.
Life jackets are available and recommended for younger children while topside, on the dock, or near the water. Young children cannot be left unattended.
The San Superior is securely moored to a wide, stable concrete dock in a protected Marina environment. From time to time there may be a surge from the Big Lake, but mostly calm waters and a gentle rocking motion prevail.
It is important to remember that your lodging experience is aboard a yacht. Although very spacious, the San Superior's total cabin area is less than that of a typical lake cabin.
Sorry, no pets, smoking, excessive drinking or partying are allowed onboard the San Superior.
The San Superior is docked just 3 blocks over the Aerial Lift Bridge (on Park Point), at the Lakehead Boat Basin, 1000 Minnesota Avenue.
